    The controller of your personal data is CFA Society Poland, with its registered office in Wrocław, ul. Komandorska 118/120, 53-345 Wrocław, email address: office@cfa.com.pl, hereinafter referred to as the "Controller" or "CFA Society Poland."

    For any matters concerning data processing, you can contact the Controller at office@cfa.com.pl for all issues related to the processing of personal data and exercising your data-related rights.

    Your personal data will be processed for purposes related to the legitimate interests of CFA Society Poland as the Controller (legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR)). Specifically, personal data will be processed to organize and conduct the workshop. The legal basis for the data processing is the necessity of processing for the legitimate interests of the Controller, including the organization of the competition, executing contracts with partners, and facilitating communication.

    If participants’ personal data are shared on the Controller’s website, the data will be processed based on explicit consent in accordance with the GDPR (Article 6(1)(a)).

    Your personal data will be stored until the consent is withdrawn or the purpose for processing ceases.

    Your personal data may be shared with the following recipients: a. Partners of the CFA Institute Research Challenge, b. Third parties providing IT or legal services to the Controller, c. Government bodies or other entities authorized by law to fulfill legal obligations of the Controller, d. Persons authorized by the Controller and data processors acting on behalf of the Controller, e. Entities supporting the Controller in its business operations.

    The Controller does not plan to transfer your personal data to recipients located outside the European Economic Area.

    You have the following rights regarding your personal data: a. The right to access your data and request their rectification, b. The right to request the deletion of your data if the basis for processing no longer exists, c. The right to request the restriction of processing under the conditions set out in Article 18 of the GDPR.

    Where the processing is based on the legitimate interest of the Controller, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.

    To exercise these rights, you should contact the Data Controller or the Data Protection Officer.

    You also have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for data protection (President of the Personal Data Protection Office).
